En su 27\u00aa versi\u00f3n, Javier Sep\u00falveda Estrada, egresado de Derecho de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n y ayudante del Programa de Estudios Europeos, tendr\u00e1 la misi\u00f3n de representar la posici\u00f3n de Chile ante el equipo de expertos de las diversas naciones que se dar\u00e1n cita en la COP27.<\/p><p>De vuelta en tierra chilena despu\u00e9s de estudiar en la Universidad de Siegen, Alemania, Sep\u00falveda ha pasado sus d\u00edas conjugando la preparaci\u00f3n de su examen de grado con clases intensivas que le entregar\u00e1n herramientas en tem\u00e1ticas de adaptaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica, finanzas, mitigaci\u00f3n, oc\u00e9ano, derechos humanos y g\u00e9nero.<\/p><p>Sep\u00falveda fue seleccionado, junto a dos j\u00f3venes m\u00e1s para representar a Chile en la COP27. Esto mediante el concurso <strong>\u201cOperaci\u00f3n COP2022 Juventudes Embajadores por el Clima\u201d<\/strong> convocado por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (Minrel), el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia (UNICEF) y <em>The Climate Reality Project<\/em> \u2013 Am\u00e9rica Latina (agrupaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro por la lucha en contra del cambio clim\u00e1tico), cuyo prop\u00f3sito es acercar a los j\u00f3venes en esta tem\u00e1tica.<\/p><p>Julio Cordano, director de la Divisi\u00f3n de Medio Ambiente, Cambio Clim\u00e1tico y Oc\u00e9anos del Minrel, precis\u00f3 ante El Mercurio que los seleccionados tras un proceso riguroso ser\u00e1n parte en pleno de la delegaci\u00f3n chilena, participando de manera concreta en las negociaciones. \u201cEl programa de participaci\u00f3n de j\u00f3venes en la COP de cambio clim\u00e1tico refleja nuestro compromiso con las nuevas generaciones en este tema global\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p><p>Del mismo modo, Javier agradece profundamente la oportunidad de aprendizaje que, de seguro, tendr\u00e1 un impacto positivo en su carrera profesional. Todo esto \u201cha sido fruto de una labor en la que el Programa de Estudios Europeos significa una parte fundamental. Esto porque me permiti\u00f3 adquirir distintas herramientas de liderazgo y comprender el funcionamiento de organizaciones e instituciones supranacionales.
